In this webinar, while examining water resources and
drought, the current state of irrigation in the United States in terms of
irrigation methods and its geographical distribution was expressed. Also, a summary of the research and the latest technologies in the field of
irrigation methods and management based on the use of the latest technologies,
control equipment, and automation of the Center Pivot Irrigation System and
innovations of their manufacturers in the United States to improve farm water
management were introduced.
This specialized webinar with the participation of more than 80 people, including faculty members of the AERI institute (headquarters and provincial research centers), executive offices of the Deputy Minister of Water and Soil, Jihad Agricultural Training and Extension Institute, university professors and students, chamber of commerce, and other organizations and institutions related to the subject were well received.
At the end of the program, following some questions and answers, it was decided that during future correspondence and negotiations with Dr. Taghvaian, the development of international cooperation in related research and extension fields will be provided.
